iPhone 5S to Launch June 20

A Japanese site, MacFan, claim that Apple will unveil the iPhone 5S on the 20th of June and sales will start in early July. The report also claims that Apple will launch the rumoured low-cost iPhone in August, which is targeted for developing markets such as India and China; and it is set to be a rival for the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini once both devices launch. Apple released the original iPhone, the 3G, 3GS and 4 during June and July, the launches were shifted for the iPhone 4S and 5.

It is believed that iPhone 5S will feature a Super HD display, higher-end processor, a 12-megapixel camera, a fingerprint sensor, near-field communications support (NFC) and maybe wireless charging. It is also said that the new iPhone will come with a 4.8" display. Some other rumours suggest that we will also be seeing an iPad 5 and maybe a new iPad Mini. Regarding the iPad 5, a 128GB version seems to be possible, as we know that Apple now has that capacity, thanks to the recent launch of a 128GB iPad 4. Also it could feature a new A6X processor system-on-a-chip, lightning connector and better LTE support. The next generation iPad Mini is said to have a Retina display, faster processor and improved camera optics. The rumoured 'iPhone Mini' is said to have a slightly smaller display and come in multiple colours to play around with. The backing is said to be either made of plastic or be the same as the iPhone 5's, which is glass and aluminium.
The iPhone 5S is expected to cost the same amount of money as the iPhone 5 and the 'iPhone Mini' is said to cost around £200 to £300. The iPad 5's price could start at £400 for the 16GB model and go all the way up to £700 for the 128GB model.
From the way things stand, we might be looking at a quite eventful summer this year, with a large line-up of tech expected to be unveiled by Apple in June. However, the 'iPhone Mini' rumour is still to be confirmed by analysts, who say that Apple aren't big fans of making things smaller. But, the iPad Mini has been manufactured, so why not make a mini iPhone?
