Apple Moves to Fix Hack Flaw

Apple have released a security update to all of its Mac users after the company was hacked on Tuesday. The firm stated that only a small number of its machines were affected by the hackers, thankfully there was no evidence of any data theft. The software update, that Apple have now released, is said to be designed to protect the computers from the vicious malware used in the attack. It is said that the malicious software was published, and then spread, through a website for software developers - meaning that there were other companies, as well as Apple, targeted by the hackers.

A US based security firm tracked the hackers to a building in Shanghai, China. However, China denied hacking numerous companies involved, which were Apple, Twitter and Facebook. Apple said that they have found serious security flaws in their Java plug-in for browsers, which hopefully has been fixed in the recent software update. Many people have accused Apple of being "too slow to react" but in many people's points of view, the technology giant did the best that it could in order to protect its users from the hackers. The update has been released within 24 hours of finding out that something wasn't right. Lets hope that nothing like this happens again, although this time it didn't affect many people.
